Or, did you jump on the online dating bandwagon, trying to beat the odds and based on your compatibility profile, selected the love of your life from a pool of potential candidates?
According to a study by the University of Chicago titled “Marital satisfaction and break-ups differ across on-line and off-line meeting venues”; couples who had met online have happier and longer marriages.
This may be true for those who are honest describing themselves, character, likes and so on. Some of the main fears with online dating is truly knowing the person behind the keyboard along with safety concerns. On the other hand, and just as in real life, honesty plays an important role when looking for your soulmate and meeting that person face to face.
